Look for the following features:

  • The inner Sluice wall is complete and some stores are built along the southern edge.

  • A gate has not yet been cut in the outer Sluice wall.

  • There is a replacement straight pier, built in 1842. The council were having trouble obtaining a £2000 Mortgage for the pier at this time.
