Weekly Report 02/03/2018

The second round of the Commodores quiz and league was held last Saturday with a further three teams joining in the fun. The current leaders are Cola Clan with the Lone dogs bringing up the rear. It is not too late to join in the league as not everyone will be able to make it every month so it will all equal out in the end. All league points will be accumulated until the final in November so there is still all to play for. If you don't want to take part in the league that's not a problem just come down and join in the fun, cost is £5 per team of up to six people or if you feel like going it alone it will be just a mere £1, running alongside the quiz will also be a raffle at £1 a square. Its all for charity so get a team together and head on down to the club, due to Easter weekend being at the end of March the next quiz will be brought forward to the 24th of March.

The next social events planned for the club is a Mother's Day gathering final plans are being put together but it will consist of nibbles and a glass of prosecco, it will be a point of meeting for families to have a natter and a drink in the warm and welcoming club, this will lead nicely onto the Wales 6 nations match. It is also intended to hold a 'Start of the season party' where all are welcome. It will be held after the first race of the season on Sat 31st March so whether you take part in the Jr section, seasoned racer or just want to come down to kick the season off in style full details will be on all social media platforms, the club website and will also be emailed out to members as soon as the full details are finalised.
