The Gold Commander Lock Trophy, sold in order to pay for the new Club Bar.

| The very valuable Commander Lock Trophy, in later years, was given out each year to the winner of the Round Caldey Island Race. It was always a problem for the club for such an expensive item to be off club premises and in unknown hands. It was decided to sell it, and use the proceeds to construct a new club bar. The trophy was replaced by a silver salver. |
 | 14th July 1962The Commander Lock Trophyhas been won by John Eastlake and Ray Brown for the Redwing Class race in the annual Tenby Sailing Club Regatta. |
