  • I've been sailing since I was 11, which makes it more than 20 years and still capsizing!!

  • I started sailing with Blake Shaw on Wednesday evenings with the school sailing club.

  • I bought my first boat at the age of 13 which was a Laser.

  • During the youth circuit I had 4 lasers before moving to an Osprey with Steve Stubbs.

  • That lasted about 3 years before partnering up with a chap from Cardiff in a B14 skiff style dinghy.

  • After that I bought an International Canoe (the fastest single handed monohull in the world at the time) which I kept for 3 seasons before buying the production made RS600.

  • That was short lived, as the RS700 (asymmetric skiff dinghy) was currently on the design board. When they launched it I ordered boat number 10, sail No. 710, which I still have.

  • I am now sailing an Osprey and an RS800.

  • Back in February 2003 I purchased 'Enigma', a Hunter Formula 1  22 ft. yacht. Enigma is the fastest yacht East of Milford Haven!

  • I was the youth representative on the committee when I was 16.

  • I was Sailing Captain for 5 years, Rear Commodore for 2 years and Vice Commodore for two years.

  • I was the Commodore of Tenby Sailing Club in 2006 & 2007.

  • I am presently the Dinghy Park Master.
