General Notes:

     Trophies will normally be competed for on a Handicap basis and they are open to all boats on the Portsmouth Yardstick.

     A minimum of 2 boats can constitute a race.

     The start/rescue rota will be displayed on the Club Notice Board. Volunteers will be awarded 3rd points to count in all trophies except the series of 3 or less races.

     Racing will take place under the current ISAF rules of sailing, the prescriptions of the RYA, the appropriate class rules and local amendments displayed on the Club Notice Board.

     The Club shall not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of property belonging to members, their guests or visitors nor will the club accept any liability for personal injury sustained by members, their guests or visitors arising out of the use of club premises, the club boats (or any other facilities provided by the club) or participation in any event organised by the club whether or not such damage or injury shall be occasioned by the neglect, default or negligence of them, the officers, Committee Members or servants of the club. By the Club, in this rule is meant the Officers, Committee and members either collectively or severally.
