Gentlemen of the Corporation of Tenby. Gentlemen, Having seen in the window of the Harbour Office a notice directing that all boats and timber must be removed from the Sluice Wharf within seven days, I beg to request that, as I have no place where I can keep my timber for trawl beams etc. except on some part of the wharf, that you will be pleased to grant me premises to still keep it there and also to work it. The trawlers and boats are constantly requiring new trawl beams. I am obliged to keep timber in stock and if they cannot get served here they will have to get their work done elsewhere which will be an inconvenience to them and a loss to me and to the town. I am Gentlemen Your Obedient Servant. |
