Safety Boat and Tractor Training

The season starts with safety boat and tractor training
on Saturday 12th April at 1.00 p.m.

Parents & helpers welcome

Junior Sailing

An enrolment session will be held on Wednesday April 16th commencing at 7.00 p.m.
Plans for the season will be discussed.

The first junior sail training on the water will be on Wednesday 23rd April, then 30th April.

From 7th May junior training will be followed by a points race & barbecue


Junior Race Training

In order to prepare for the Welsh Schools Championships
extra race training will be held on most saturday afternoons
at least until the end of June.

Welsh Schools Championships

at Tenby Sailing Club this year

Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 2008

We are hoping that all local juniors will take advantage of this event at the club.
Juniors from all over West Wales will be coming but there are races for everyone:
beginners to experienced

Starts at 10.30 a.m.    Turn up at 9.00 a.m. for registration and briefing.

Prior entry necessary



Cruiser Racing

Please note that
we have included a few more races
on the fixture card.

Also all series cruiser cups now need
only 50% sailed rather than 75%

We hope that this will encourage more
to have a go.
     

Open Meeting for Dinghies
& Osprey Open

Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th May 2008
at Tenby Sailing Club

3 Races per day     Entry fee £30.00
Toppers, Teras & Optimists £10 for the event.

Club Bar

This will be open every Friday and Saturday from 7.30 p.m.
Also Sunday lunchtimes after sailing


The bar will be open every evening from Spring Bank Holiday to early September.
Also weekends at lunch time in this period

Barbecue every Wednesday evening after racing
commencing early May

There will be food most Friday and Saturday evenings.

The summer season's club programme starts on Sunday April 6th.

Volunteers are needed for the starter's rota. Training will be given.

These are held once a month normally on Wednesdays.

Membership Drive

The AGM decided on a further £15.00 reduction in full membership which is now only £50.00.
Spouses & partners are still only £5.00 so the whole family can join in.

There is a £20.00 discount on full membership for new members
There never has been a better time to join.


The Clubhouse is better than ever, there is a training programme expanding year by year
and there are now over 20 club boats with a range of types suitable for both adults and juniors.

Regular social programme throughout the year.

Please help our efforts by spreading the word and recruiting more members.
