The Position of Tenby Sailing Club in the Harbour, Tenby.

Harbour beach and the top of the harbour area. (57k bytes)

The three storey clubhouse is situated in a wonderful position, being in the centre of the Tenby Harbour area. It can be seen on the extreme right in the picture above.

Launchings are from two slipways nearby into the sheltered Harbour and can take place for two hours either side of high tide. Launchings can take place at other times from the beach.

A full programme of social events is organised throughout the year. The Club Bar is open every Friday and Saturday evening from October to April and Sunday lunchtimes after sailing. The Bar is open every evening from May to September and lunchtimes in school holidays.

Tenby Sailing Club was founded in 1936 and has a long history of encouraging sailing as a sport with regular programmes of both sail and race training and regular club racing. We have also staged many major National and International Championships. We also organise cruiser racing for boats moored in the Harbour.
