Tenby Sailing Club Race & Social Event Report

          Alas the rather strong winds meant the first frostbite race had to be cancelled as well as the first of the junior set of mini races. Hopefully we can get away this Sunday.

          Guess what? We were firmly put in our place. Again, our inability to get that final double proved to be our nemesis. Nil desperandum, it's early days yet. This evening we are home to the Swanlake Inn. Participating members please note.

          The opening hours will now revert to Friday and Saturday evenings with the occasional function thrown in. Any time variation will be published in advance. On a procedural note, would members please have their membership cards to hand as temporary bar staff may not know the identity of all our members.

          This musical feast takes place next Wednesday. Not to be missed.

          On Friday, October 24th, there will be food laid on at the club. Steaks and other culinary delights will be on the menu.

          On Saturday, November 1st, there will be a Halloween disco and party. There will be some food laid on but it would be appreciated if members would contribute by bringing some of their favourite food along.

          On Saturday, November 29th, the AGM will take place followed by the annual prize-giving. There will be more details later.

          On Saturday, December 13th, the annual junior party and prize-giving will take place.

          This is a very friendly and welcoming club, which endeavours to involve all members in a variety of activities.
