For the second week running, the foibles of modern technology has affected my article. Last week's article was faxed from Alpine France, but only 50 per cent arrived, hence the lack of information. To put matters right, there follows a brief synopsis of the remainder of last week's article! Soup FrenzyThis was a culinary experience worthy of the highest accolade. Well done, many thanks to Mike and Deanna for their efforts. DartsThe least said the better. Our end of season form has been abysmal. Perhaps things will change this evening in the final game this season which is at home. Easter CarveryAs the newsletter had indicated, this will take place this Sunday at lunchtime, commencing at 12.30 p.m. I'm informed that numbers are disappointing to date due to various communication problems. If any member wishes to participate, please contact Blake Shaw on 842535 as soon as possible. One thing is guaranteed, the food will be up to the usual high standard. We look forward to feeding you. Finally, sailing as normal this Sunday. Further NewsDuring the week, we were contacted by a man trying to trace his uncle's granddaughter. He had seen a picture of Victoria Carrel in the photograph of the 1980 Greenhill School Sailing Club which can be seen on the TSC website. He has phoned again to say that he has traced her mother in Minehead. Does anyone else know where Victoria lives? GP14 |
