Another turnout of hardy sailors did battle in trying conditions which resulted in the following results: 1. Dan Lewis in a Laser; 2. Rolly Squibbs and Helen Williams in a Redwing; 3. Paul Evenden and Anthea Paterson in a Wayfarer; 4. Paul Johnson in a Solo. The final Frostbite series takes place this Sunday with the final race of the season taking place on Boxing Day in conjunction with the Boxing Day Swim festivities. Meanwhile, on the Haven, the cruiser fraternity had to contend with very different conditions from previous weeks. The racing was close, with the Tenby contingent again faring very well. In division two, Daniel Jackson, in yacht Artful Dodger, took first place which, unless I'm mistaken, has secured him and his crew the division two title. The situation in division three is still wide open. Billy Stubbs, in yacht Amphora, and Blake Shaw, in yacht Slipstream, came second and fourth, respectively. The final places are dependent on this Sunday's results. Watch this space! DartsLo and behold - we won! The celebrations are still continuing as we recorded our second win of the season. After falling behind in the singles games, captain Terry Evans made a brilliant tactical decision which resulted in us winning all the remaining games. Indeed, the winning dart was thrown by the illustrious captain. Terry, however, did have a 'senior moment' during the evening by inadvertently leaving one of our star players, Rolly Squibbs, out of the singles. Rolly's inclusion in the doubles certainly helped the victory. Back to earth this evening as we are away to the Evergreen. Participating members please note. Who knows? The first half of the season may end on a high note by a third win - the return to the throng of the commodore, Mike Stace, should greatly enhance our chances! Junior PartyThe junior party was a huge success with a plethora of lively, enthusiastic juniors partying as only juniors do. Many thanks to all who contributed to the success of the evening - a special thanks to Ruth Tebbutt for co-ordinating the evening and thanks also to the vice-commodore for his contribution, especially in the prize-giving. The successful recipients of trophies were as follows: 1st Junior - Elliot Doney; 2nd Junior - Angelo Fecci; 3rd Junior - Tommy D'Ortez; Best Junior Crew - Matt Davie; R.N.L.I.
