Tenby Sailing Club Race & Social Event Report

          Nick will on duty this evening and tomorrow evening ready to quell the hunger of the ravenous noshers.

          Nick certainly came up trumps with his format for St Valentine's Supper. The large turnout enjoyed four courses of superbly prepared food washed down by a "lemonade" or two. Commodore, Terry Evans, thanked Nick for all his efforts and looked forward to his next gourmet creation.

          We are away this evening to the Swanlake A, a very efficient darting outfit. Our record against the A team is dismal to say the least but remember we are still celebrating our recent unexpected win. So who knows? Watch this space.

          Monday's jam session was most enjoyable. Many thanks to Nick Thomas and Terry Evans for coordinating the event. The next jam session takes place on Wednesday, March 17th. Don't miss it, it's the place to be.

          As mentioned in previous articles, the club has accepted an invitation to visit Pembroke Haven Yacht Club and participate in a games challenge evening. This will definitely take place on Saturday, March 6th. Members please note.

          Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the eagerly awaited visit scheduled for February 26th has had to be cancelled. We are in consultation with Saundersfoot regarding a new date. Watch this space.

          Members and friends are invited to watch the Six Nations rugby on our big screen.. Food will also be available to satisfy the ravenous.

          On Saturday, February 27th, the legendary cawl maestro Terry Evans will be serving this annual treat. It's always useful to know approximate numbers. So, should any members and friends wish to participate please contact Terry Evans on 844256. A vegetarian option will be available. Thanks in anticipation.
