Tenby Sailing Club Race & Social Event Report

          Nick will on duty this evening and tomorrow evening ready to quell the hunger of the ravenous noshers. This evening he will be putting on a delicious curry with the usual trimmings.

          Our euphoria of winning unexpectedly turned into the usual acceptance of inevitable defeat when we were firmly put in our place by Swanlake A. The only success of the evening came from captain Terry Evans who won his singles in style. Many other games were closely contested but our nemesis, the inability to hit that final double, returned to haunt us. We have no game this evening so the annual club championship will take place. Participating members please note.

          The next jam session takes place on Wednesday, March 17th. Don't miss it, it's the place to be.

          As mentioned in previous articles, the club has accepted an invitation to visit Pembroke haven Yacht Club and participate in a games challenge evening. This will definitely take place on Saturday, March 6th. Members please note.

          Members and friends are invited to watch the Six Nations rugby on our big screen. This evening we look forward to the French game. Rugby and one of Nick's curries - what more could one want?

          Tomorrow, Saturday, February 27th, the legendary cawl maestro, Terry Evans, will be serving this annual treat. It's always useful to know approximate numbers.           A junior training session will take place on Saturday, March 13th. For further details contact Blake Shaw on 842535. On the Saturday evening there will be a rules forum where various scenarios will be presented and the rules concerning theses will be clarified. Members please note.
