- Sailed GP14s and Larks while at University, 1966-1969.
- I presently sail a GP14. (It is called 'The Divine GP14' -blessed by the Pope!)
- A member of Tenby Sailing Club from 1973 to 1976, then joined again in 1985.
- Treasurer of Tenby Sailing Club from 1989 to 1999.
- Rear Commodore and Treasurer of the club from 1994 to 1996.
- Vice Commodore and Treasurer of the club from 1997 to 1998.
- Commodore of the club from 1999 to 2000.
- Treasurer of Tenby Sailing Club from 2001 onwards.
- I am also the Press Officer and joint Bar Manager.
- I am the Championship Safety Boat Coordinator.
- I am the Social Programme Coordinator.
- I am the Vice Commodore of the club.
