Junior Training

Tenby Sailing Club is an RYA accredited training centre and offers junior sail training on a Wednesday evening at 17:30 from Easter to the end of September for children over 8 years old. 

We have a range of beginners, intermediates and racing groups. We offer training towards stages 1 to 4 of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme and advanced modules as well as opportunities to work towards being an assistant instructor. We also offer an opportunity to work towards RYA Powerboat level 1 and 2 certificates to support club activities. We operate a fleet of safety boats with qualified crews whenever the juniors are on the water. Whatever level you are at, we are sure you will find sailing exciting and fun on one of the best sailing waters in the UK.

Juniors will need to be members of the Club (cost per annum - £10), then £50 payable in advance for the Training Season. The club has fleets of Optimists, Teras, Toppers, Lasers, Fevas and Quests for use during training sessions. Each Wednesday evening training session ends with a social gathering in the club house with a BBQ on the balcony and the best view in town. Out of season the group continues to meet for social events.
